Policy Committee Hearing to Examine School District of Philadelphia

WHAT:     House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata), House Republican Caucus Chairwoman Rep. Martina White (R-Philadelphia) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled “Examining the School District of Philadelphia” to discuss measures needed to improve schools, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance student outcomes.

WHO:     Testifiers will include Christian Barnard, senior policy analyst, Reason Foundation; Shannon Mitchell, parent of Philadelphia School District student; and others. 

WHEN:     Monday, May 19, at 1 p.m.
